About Hersey Meters—
Hersey Meters Company was re-organized in August of 1999 as a subsidiary of Mueller. Mueller, originally organized in 1857, is a publicly traded company and now known as Mueller Water Products, Inc. Hersey Meters, with annual revenue generated by the Mueller Water Products, is in excess of $1 billion US dollars annually.
The Hersey Meters 142,000 square foot manufacturing facility is located in Cleveland, North Carolina and achieved ISO 9002 in 1992. All Hersey Meter products are manufactured, assembled and tested using the most modern technologies, with emphasis on multi-station computerized machining and robotic assembly stations. Hersey offers positive displacement, horizontal & vertical turbine, and compound water meters.
