 Radio-Based EndPoints
Designed to equip new and existing meters for automatic meter reading (AMR), the Itron water, gas and electricity endpoints are easy to install and compatible with meters from all leading meter manufacturers. Itron radio-based endpoints are also accurate, cost-effective and rugged enough to withstand some of the harshest environments.

 Mobile Collection
Itron mobile automatic meter reading (AMR) systems use a vehicle equipped with a portable radio transceiver and computer to gather consumption and tamper data from water, gas and electricity radio-based endpoints. Itron offers two mobile drive-by solutions – a ruggedized laptop option with GPS & mapping applications or a hybrid option allowing for mobile-based automatic meter reading along with handheld-based meter reading.

Itron’s Field Collector series of handheld computers combine accuracy and mobility to simplify reading of water, gas and electricity meters. These handhelds offer expansive memory, generous battery capacities and allow for migration to mobile meter reading using Itron Mobile Collector Lite unit.
