United Systems & Software has a golden opportunity for a superstar service rep or project manager.
We’re a leading software firm specializing in software and hardware solutions for utilities and local government. As we continue to grow, we seek qualified individuals to join our team and help us continue to provide modern technological solutions to the sustainability, regulatory, and overall operational management issues facing today’s utilities.
As a Support/Implementation Specialist, you’ll be a day-to-day hero for our customers. Key duties include:
- Providing support across our ecosystem of products and services
- Training and educating customers to help them succeed
- Managing projects from start to finish—including the management of third parties, customers, and teammates
- Transitioning customers seamlessly after go-live
- Improving processes and deliverables based on feedback
- Collaborating with internal teams on enhancing our products

- Strong communication skills: You explain things clearly and manage expectations like a pro
- Basic project management chops: You handle small to medium-sized initiatives
- Technical aptitude: You know your way around Windows and Microsoft 365 (bonus points if you have at least a basic knowledge of SQL)
- Strategic thinking: You prioritize what’s important and see the big picture and your place in it
- Enthusiasm for learning and teaching: You love to seek out the next learning opportunity and want to share your knowledge
- Team player: You thrive on collaborating
- Knowledgeable: A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred, and more bonus points if you have a background in governmental and fund accounting!
- Willingness to travel: This role requires some travel, including overnight stays

- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Pay: Starting salary of $25.00 per hour, but actual pay will be based on education and experience.
- Location: In-person at our headquarters in Benton, KY (you must be willing to reliably commute or relocate to Benton before starting work)
- Education: Associate or higher preferred
- Experience: 2 years of accounting preferred
