Employee Spotlight: Janhavi Shah
As a UX Designer, Janhavi Shah has a hand in the look and feel of United Systems products. She works with our internal teams to ensure products are developed with usability and functionality in mind and as accessible and streamlined as possible.
Janhavi began working at United Systems in August 2023 as a UX Designer. She is originally from Mumbai, India (which is nearly 8,400 miles away from our headquarters!), and also lived in Singapore before moving to the United States for college.
She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in User Experience Design, minoring in psychology and social entrepreneurship. She loves working at the intersection of design, problem-solving, and psychology. Janhavi is motivated by learning something new every day and by adding value to someone’s life directly through her work. She champions a design philosophy at United Systems focused on proactive design and user empathy.
She also has a variety of hobbies to stay inspired — especially anything artsy. In her free time, she paints, makes pottery, or learns a new art style and enjoys spending time with friends, trying different cuisines, and playing board games. She recently learned Salsa dancing to try her hand at something else new and meet all sorts of interested and talented people along the way.
